The Silbitz Group was and is one of the most modern technologically leading foundries in Europe. In the last 10 years more than 100 million Euro has been invested in expanding the individual locations.

Our employees’ longstanding know-how coupled with close partnerships to various universities ensures our technical leadership.  Besides our own technology centre, we research applications for new materials, such as solid solution hardened materials and highly temperature resistant steel materials.

20 designers and development engineers work in our Technikum on casting design and layout with simulations in order to depict the most complex geometries. A further area we work on is the conversion of welding constructions to cast constructions, in order to realise a dedicated design to cost approach.
